Salary: £17,000 - £20,000 + additional responsibility points + over time
Do you enjoy a challenge? Could you support a young person to see their potential? Do you enjoy an active working environment where every day is different and challenging? If you answered yes, then come and work for us helping young people in a care setting on residential activity breaks.
We are looking for enthusiastic staff who enjoy active based work with young people in Staffordshire. Experience and qualifications in activities such as mountain biking, climbing, hiking, kayaking etc are desirable but we do provide initial and ongoing training and support.
The young people in our care have usually come from difficult situations which lead them to display complex and challenging behaviours. Taking part in outdoor activities can help to build the confidence of the young people in our care and gives them a sense of achievement and self belief. We are therefore looking to recruit people who are resilient, supportive and empathetic and who will dedicate themselves to promoting the rights and welfare of young people.
The role provides excellent opportunities for further progression and training throughout the organisation, including Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
